Do you and your partner have the same vacationing philosophy?

To a certain extent. I'm not a sand beach kinda gal. I love culture and history. Museums, monuments, art, nature, architecture and food are my sort of thing. My husband loves to relax on his vacations. He is constantly telling me how he wants to go on a vacation to flop on the beach and relax. To me, flopping on the beach is not what I would consider a vacation. Thankfully he also enjoys the same things I do. So usually we opt for the best of both worlds. I just feel like it's such a waste of a vacation when we have a perfectly beautiful beach 45 minutes from the house.
