My Car was stolen in November 2008?

I let the person test drive it and I never saw him again. Yes, I let him borrow the keys. He did not get a Bill of Sale or Title. I had just lost my house to foreclosure and was evicted, so I was trying to get some money to go to San Francisco and live with my daughter. The next day, I took a train/bus to San Fran. I don't know what to do?
