Anyone who shows such little interest in a legitimate concern of yours is NOT worth your time. Anything you do or don't do does not justify being called such insulting names. If someone doesn't care about you and your needs, they are not worth the emotional investment you're giving. Mutual respect is the foundation of a healthy relationship. From your description, I would strongly consider ending the relationship.
