Ok random but..........?

I just moved to Ny in Rochester and at my school some guy was sweeping and he played footsy with me with the broom.When i turned around he smiled(a VERY big smile) not sarcastically though.and the out in the hall i was talking to my friend and i bumped into him.He smiled again!Do you think he likes me or is being friendly?(remember I've never met OR seen him before)
