How wrong is it that Notre Dame is in a BCS bowl?

I mean . . . come on. . this team is horrible this year and in no way deserves to be in another big money bowl. The only two ranked (currently) teams they played all year absolutely PISS POUNDED THEM!!! Enough already on the history and lore of Notre Dame. . . the name and history shouldn't guarantee them a BCS bowl every year just for fielding a team!!!! The NCAA mens basketball tourny doesn't give a spot to every team with a good history every year. .. . . why should the BCS do the same for Notre Dame. I can't wait to see LSU PISS POUND them back to south bend.
