About colposcopy and dyspasia?

my last pap smear came back irregular so my doc said i need to get a biopsy. i have read that the doc does a second pap smear just to make sure it really is irregular but this didn't happen so i went in for my colposcopy/biopsy... almost ped out cause i hyperventilate with stuff like that (i dont want to scare anyone who needs to get them! it really wasnt that bad that stuff just makes me really nervous.) and the doctor was honestly a witch with a b, lol.. i didn't like her at all, didn't feel confortable... she didn't tell me that i couldn't have for two weeks following the procedure or use tampons to help healing and prevent infection.. my mom actually told me this.. i'm on yasmin and my bf and i had gentle a week after. my boyfriend and i had after a week of healing.. he was gentle though, not like real rough and he pulled out.. i'm on yasmin as well.. i have had light cramps the past week, but i'm getting my period today... any chance for infection?
