Accidental book/movie coincidence?

Is it Ironic that Twilight was originated in a dream the same year as the movie Underworld? My brother recently brought to my attention the fact that both twilight and the movie Underworld revolve around worlds in which Vampires and Werewolves (two mythological demons that are rarely, if ever referenced together) are at odds with one-another. Mix that with her admitted adaptation of Romeo and Juliet and apparently you can have a best selling book attracting fans of all ages.
