Does my FWB actually like me?

How do I know if my FWB actually likes me, or strictly wants ? We've been sleeping together for a month, but he did take me on a date, and he txt/calls almost everyday. He said he doesn't want us hooking up with other people (I've stuck to that agreement, and he says he has too, but who knows). Does that mean he actually likes me, and could want more than in the future, or am I wasting my time by continuing this situation. Please be straight-up, I need to hear the truth right now, and not some sugar-coated answers because I'm starting to like him, and don't want to get hurt. If it's leading to that, I'd rather cut it off now. This weekend, he asked me out to dinner through a text. I said yes, but that I couldn't go until 8, and I'd call him as soon as I was going to be able to. He didn't txt back, when I called around 8, he didn't pick up. I got a txt around 11 saying "come over", then he called me. I didn't pick up the phone, or respond to the txt, because I felt like he blew me & the dinner off, and then expected me to come over! I haven't talked to him since (that was Friday, now it's Monday). Should I ignore him when he contacts me next, and cut him out of my life, or should I confront him and ask what happened with dinner? Am I only going to end up hurt, or could he possibly like me, but not be ready for a relationship?
