It is unfair how people in the past had the prophet....?

to show them miracles to prove Islam's authenticity, but in our current time, what miracles do we see of Islam? Does it not make sense that more people will convert from Islam with the conditions of Muslims as they are? Is it rationale of me to convert from Islam after a month of devout appraisal of God, if he does not show me his proof afterward. I want to believe, but how can I when Muslims are suffering so much in this world? Also, why does not God alleviate Muslims' predicament even though we pray so much? Not all Muslims can be good, and when someone suffers, he spreads his sufferings to others; and this virus spreads sufferings and corruption.
