Yes. It should have 3 settings. It may be in the setup menu or a switch on the back. The one and I don't remember what it is called, will only give a short ring and then connect if it sees message information on the line (for like when you won't be home for a time) the other 2 give you the option for it to answer on the 3rd or the 5th ring.
